| This week I thought I would show you around the pond. Our pond was constructed last August. It has some finishing touches to be included to it but my husband and I cannot agree on what those may be. He wants to add a side water area for shallow water plants and I want a deck where I can place the muskoka chairs and make it look like we are at the cottage. Anyway, we are really enjoying it this year. We sit out most evenings till the mosquitos drive us indoors watching the wild life in the form of frogs. We have on an off 4 frogs. The birds come down for a drink. The fish move the plants about. A simple life for simple people. Note: In the mosiac you will find my pool boy. LOL. Have a great gardening week. I LOVE your pond! My husband and I have talked about having one but I don't know when we'll ever find the time. Especially with teenagers.

I love everything about your pond mosaic - the pond itself, the flowers, your photos, and how you constructed the mosaic. I do think Muskoka chairs nearby would be a good addition.

Beautiful pond and definitely the chairs. We have had one for 12 years since we have lived in this house. 2 of the fish are of the original bunch. We have 21 now.It is near the deck so I can feed the fish even if I can't walk down the steps to the pond. There is a bench there. I love the lilies and usually have the floating hyacinths, but didn't get out to get them. First time I have visited and I will be back. Blessings

What a lovely pond area for your garden. I think adding a spot for chairs so you can sit and listen and watch is a wonderful idea.
