I don’t know about you but I overindulge of goodies at Christmas. I have a terrible sweet tooth and I just can’t seem to turn down anything delicious during the holidays. So, this week I had to return to eating healthier and getting more exercise.
Inside us is a thin person struggling to get out but they can usually be sedated with a few pieces of chocolate cake. Author unknown

I tried eating healthier this week. That lasted for a day.
It's hard to get back to normal after Christmas....
Ditto everthing you said. About to fix a sensible lunch. I love your shot...it popped right out of the linky at me. Nice lighting.
Lovely macro...and that quote is perfect!
Have a wonderful weekend!
Oh, the chocolate, if I could give it up for good, my thin person would finally be able to escape. Poor thin person.....!
Oh, those darn kisses!! Problem is they're so small I figure I can eat more than one. Sometimes, a LOT more than one. Great capture. Now put them down and step away. :-)
Thanks for sharing.

It made for a pretty macro photo! I am going to practice more with my macro lens.

Hi Val
Is it not written somewhere that chocolate is good for the soul?
Your kisses turned out well, I suppose you used your new lens which gives a good view of the subject.

Oh, I love that quote! Thanks for sharing! Great photo of kisses too!
I keep telling myself I'll get back to eating healthy eventually. ;)
I think the photo is very cute but I shudder at the idea of ever saying good-bye to the chocolate kiss. They are my one weakness.
Great shot Val, so want a macro lens. On my wish list for sure. Take care, Jen.
I love it when Hershey's comes out with these wonderful festive colors around the holiday season! Could never resist them!
Lovely image and great quote. I've never heard of a chocolate kiss before!
Oh yes, the perfect macro for those of us with a sweet tooth!
Yum! Kisses are the best! Great shot and quote!
This is my problem too and not just on Christmas. It's a good thing that you can stop.
Your macro is a very sweet one, great work!
Beautiful capture and lighting!
