It is raining today in the Sandbox. I took these photos when I went out to put fresh seed in the birdfeeders. The poppies looked a little droopy with rain on them but still pretty.
I am off to set up for another plant sale that is happening tomorrow. It is so busy at this time of the year. I guess that is a good thing. I will be joining Laura for Macro Friday and Tootsie for Fertilizer Friday. Valerie

Lovely captures and such rich color! L
Yeah, it's raining here too... oh well. Looks like even your poppies are unhappy about it too...
I think there are going to be a lot of rainy day garden pics this year. Poppies are one of my faves.
I sprinkled poppy seeds here about a week ago...I hope things warm up and the seeds germinate soon!!! thanks for the link today!
Love the raindrops on the poppy bud and how the rain changes the entire bloom into another shape. Beautiful!
Pretty poppy photos....we will take some of your rain please.
Your magnolia & poppy pictures are awesome! You captured them beautifully!
My poppy's haven't bloomed yet.
Have a beautiful weekend.

I was just checking my poppies out the front window and thinking I need to take some photos of them. It was a rainy morning but I'm being optimistic and imagining the sun will come out and perk up the droopy poppies.
I love poppies, but they are so often so very hard to photograph, positively reflecting the light back at you and losing all structure in the process.
Your main shot in the middle is just lovely - perfect capture!
Gorgeous and your photos are fantastic
Marvelous!! Terrific macro....
Oh my goodness! These pictures are absolutely breath taking!!!!
BEAUTIFUL photo!!! I am stopping by from Macro Friday!
There has been a lot of rain lately, I am hopeful the weatherman is correct and next week will be warm and sunny. Have a wonderful time at the plant sale:)
