This weeks challenge for Texture Tuesday was a photo using the texture by Kim Klassen called “Aurora”. The Shasta daisies are still looking good in the garden despite this period of drought and extreme heat.
I will be participating in Kim Klassen Cafe’s Texture Tuesday. Won’t you join us. Valerie

Our shastas are still tight in bud, but they should come out by next week if we get a little warmth. Yours look like they might be waving in the breeze - are you having any breeze at all?
Shasta daisies are one of my favourite plants. I don't think mine did as well in the garden this year, first too wet, then too dry and hot.
Awwww Daisies are one of my favorite flowers and you did an excellent job with the textures.
Love your story down below about the reunion, I bet it brought back so many precious memories.
Love your blog! It's beautiful!
Hope you get some much needed rain soon!
I love daisies. I really should plant some although with my gardening skills maybe I should just continue buying bouquets every now and then. Your photo is lovely. I love the polaroid effect.
This is a gorgeous picture. We have had non stop rain through June and July and my perennials are doing exceptionally well but the vegetable garden is coming along so slowly. Hope you get some rain very soon.
Really beautiful use of this texture!! :)
This is so pretty!
Love the photo and the daisy, too. You have such talent for making these pictures just pop. Very, very pretty!
It feels a bit whimsy. Love that!
Like your daisies and the texture work, very nice!
Good work! One of the reasons I like Shasta daisies, is that once cut they last a long time. I always have fresh flowers in the house.
Hi Val
Your shastas are looking very perky. I feel a few plants will be lost in this heat as I'm only watering the pots and veggie garden.
Judith
How beautiful Valerie. I love the texture. Becky Shasta daises are all over my gardens.
