The Coreopsis ‘sunburst’ are beginning to bloom in the Sandbox. I love the bright yellow colour but I find like all yellow flowers they are hard to photograph for some reason. I always think that I do not capture the colour that well. I thought that these blooms contrasted nicely with the wood on the deck. I kept them off to one side so there was space on the right. You could add a little saying or a quote if you wanted to use the photo for a card.
I am joining Bonnie for Photo Art Friday. Hope you have a wonderful day and weekend.

Just beautiful! Love the soft blur that gives the image such a dreamy, romantic feel. Thank you for sharing with Photo Art Friday, Valerie.
I've been visiting around from who knows where but I got here. Lovely photography and the way you manipulate the pictures is so romantic and country. Really nice. Linda Following also
Oh, this is beautiful!! I love the contrast of the flower against the wood.
You're right about the yellow - I just took some pictures of my evening primrose and they are almost neon looking. This is gorgeous with the wood in the background.
Hi Val
Yellow flowers captured in the right light just glow, don't they?

Wow Valerie, this is a wonderful use of negative space, and I just love the simplicity of this. The tones are beautiful, the composition is beautiful. I love everything about it!
