Yesterday I attended the Ontario Horticulture Society District 5 AGM with members of Mt. Albert Garden and Horticulture Society, the particular group I belong to. We had a very nice day, had a lovely lunch and got to meet up with people from other societies. The centerpiece for our table was a large pot with pansies in it. We were told that as a small gift from the junior members of the host Society we could take a pot of pansies home. I chose this little blue purple one. This morning I got the idea to take their picture in front of the sliding door to the deck.
I am joining Mary for Mosaic Monday. It is a lovely day here today and I spent the morning cleaning up the front gardens. After I post here I will go out and put my tools away. Have a great week.

Such pretty little blooms. How nice to be able to take one home!
Your petite pansy pot is pretty Val. Our district AGM was yesterday too and by the end of the day, my role was finished. I received some lovely bouquets and a weeping 'Lavender Twist' redbud from the district.
Woo hoo!

Pretty pansies and I love their purple color. The pot looks nice too, a great gift. Have a happy week!
Wow, gorgeous shots. Love the different DOF and added colour panels. I cleaned the pond and put the pump running, ugh, such a dirty job. Have a great day.
Love the color combo of your wonderful mosaic photos and the beautiful flowers ~ ^_^
Your mosaics are delightful as are your pansies. Our pansies are with us all winter and have stayed nice since the weather has been moderate. But they will soon die and will replace them with petunias, etc.
The pot of pansies is so pretty, but your photos really enhance the beauty. I'm glad things are improving weatherwise for you. There's lots of work to do once spring arrives, isn't there?
Don't they have the most perfect little blooms! It was a nice day here today, too! Sweet hugs!
Sweet little pansy faces. I think I might buy some this week to put in somewhere for some colour. I like how you colour blocked your mosaics. Hugs, Pam
I love pansies - they are my stand-by color in Autumn/Winter!!!
Sounds like a great group you're in Valerie and what could be nicer than all get together and chatting about plants and gardens - hard to beat!

Your pansies are so pretty! Very cheery!

Sweet pansies in a tea cup - lovely.
I love pansies! They are one of my favorite to plant and there are so many colors to choose from! Spring is showing up on the prairies, so hopefully I will be planting some soon!
Your flowers are so sweet.
I also like your mosaics - I will have to try that.
Great photo, Valerie! I love how you processed it.
So lovely Valerie.
Very pretty and your presentation of them is lovely.
oh I love the golden light and the pansies in their tea-cup - it looks like spring has come to you!
Have a wonderful week and thank yo for stopping by my blog last week - we have been away trecking and only just back - so catching up!
A pretty pot of pansies - they just sing 'spring' to me.
Pretty! I have pots of pansies outdoors giving my garden sone color as the buds begin to pop through soil.
Hurray it is finally Spring! May brings out the flowers! Have yourself a bright glorious week!
