I am joining Bonnie at Pixel Dust Photo Art for PhotoArtFriday. The theme for this month’s artwork is “water”.
I decided to do a little composite using a birdbath filled with stones I found on Google images and placed me on the edge. My husband had taken a photo of me sitting on a stump in a local park. I used the quick selection tool in Photoshop to cut me out of the photo and put me on a separate layer. Then I resized it to look like I am sitting on the edge. I used two textures of Bonnies called Antique deskpad and sweet thoughts. I added a filter of grain. The whole photo was supposed to look like a polaroid. Hope you get a laugh out of it as I did making it.

That is pretty cool Valerie! :) Great photo edit! You make it sound so easy to do these edits. I just get frustrated with trying to learn I guess. Have a great weekend. Pam
Cute! Photo Shop has creative possibilities.

Cute!
That's really cute, Valerie. I can think of lots of fun to be had with that tool. You look like a little kid on the edge of the fountain.
How creative - and so effective! Thanks for sharing your editing process with us, Valerie. You made me giggle.
What a creative shot this is! Love it
Well this is sure FUN! I love what you came up with. It's just wonderful and creative.
Hope you'll stop by both my posts.
Valerie, I LOVE this!!!
Very creative! Looks kind of like you fell into the "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids" movie. Great job!
Hahaha - wonderful! :)
Very fun, Valerie! Nicely edited and textured!
Oh, I love it! Great editing.
Hi Valerie, yes I did get a laugh! Very clever and cute photo of you.
Hope you are very well. We're having hot weather, too, but no one here complains about that. Lovely September summer days.
