We woke up this morning to a white and chilly Mother's Day. How about you? I did have another mosiac made for today with flowers from the garden in it but I thought I would show you this instead. I hope, hope, hope that this is temporary and we get back to the nice spring weather we were experiencing. I hope everyone had a relaxing Mother's Day with your family. Our oldest Son invited us to his house for supper. My Son and Daughter in law are terrific cooks. I love that I don't have to do anything just sip on a nice glass of wine and wait to be served. Join the Mosiac Monday crowd at Mary's DearLittleRedHouse for more reflections on what is going on in our world today. Happy Gardening Week....I think. |

Last Sunday was my birthday. I'm at the age that if I don't look in the mirror I think I am younger. When I do pass by one and loo...

Snow??? On Mother's Day?? Love the mosaic to commemorate this day!! Totally love your topic!
Yes, that is what I woke up to as well and I have every finger and toe crossed in hopes of warmer weather. Lovely pictures and I am glad you had a wonderful and relaxing Mother's Day.
I know another chilly, snowy day was not what you might have wanted ... but it did create lovely scenes for this mosaic! A beautiful collection of shots. Enjoy your Mother's Day.
Wasn't that snow something? I had to laugh at #1 daughter in North Bay with the record amount of snow they received.
Oh well, we can visit the bloggers from the south that are showing all their wonderful spring flowers and telling us how warm it is. :-)

Oh, my goodness, Valerie.....who would have thought of snow on Mother's Day....great mosaic.
Hope your weather improves soon!
Thanks for your visit and comment.
We had a cool nip in VA but not snow as you did. Don't worry, in Aug we'll be wishing for some.
Lovely mosaic.
Thanks for your visit and comment.
It was chilly here, but no snow! Still, crazy to have snow in May, but your pictures are beautiful :)
Beautiful snow-filled mosaic. Happy mothers day.
Uppps....snow!
But a beautiful mosaic...happy MM!

My first reaction was, "That can't be snow, can it?" and sure enough, it was!

Omigosh, I would be crying my eyes out to wake up to snow in May! I hope it has all melted, and you have gotten back to spring. Your Mother's Day sounds wonderful! Thanks for sharing at MM. :)
Well that just isn't right is it? Snow in May? Wow.
Glad you had a nice Mother's Day.
Well, that was a truthful post! I remember many snowy mothers' days in Ontario and Alberta. I also remember that it could go from snowy to steamy in 24 hours!
Hard to believe snow in May....your garden mosaic dusted with snow looks very pretty though!~ Have a great day!
What a lovely mosaic. I see you had snow, Hopefully good weather will come back soon
It's pretty cold here, but no snow. Love the buddah with snow on his head!
Oh my goodness, pretty as this is, it's so wrong! Snow on Mother's Day! Hope your weather improves soon. We've not had snow thankfully but frost advisories the last couple nights and there's one for tonight as well.
I can't believe it has been snowing! I sure hope summer arrives soon for you!
I love your mosaic too!
Best wishes for a beautiful week,
Natasha.
Yikes! I hope it is not headed our way.It did make a pretty mosaic though.
Sounds like you got pampered too for Mother's Day.
Carolyn
I am so glad you showed these photos. They do look beautiful with the frost on them. It is crazy weather...we packed a picnic lunch to eat by the lake...too cold and windy...ate it in the truck instead! Oh well...still a good day!
Hope you have a wonderful week and warm weather is hopefully just around the corner!!
Wendy
Snow in May? Brrr! We will hit the freezing mark here in New England tonight but no snow. I guess we should consider ourselves lucky.
I hope you got the relaxing Mother's Day you hoped for.
snow! what nonsense! but it did make for some very nice photos!
I see we had the same idea for this week's mosaic. :)
I love your mosaic. We got 10 cms here, but it doesn't seem to have hurt anything. In fact, I think some of my hostas grew during the snowfall!
