Kettle Can Do for Texture Tuesday

Kettle-with-texturelr

The challenge for this weeks Texture Tuesday is using Kim’s newest texture “Autumn Burst” and providing a photo using the verb “do”.    My kettle is a can do appliance in the afternoon when I feel like a cup of tea or coffee.   I used two layers of Autumn Burst and one layer of Isabel LaFrance’s texture Extra Warm Sun.   Valerie

Hi Val
I think to appreciate the techniques you're using, I'd have to see the before photo first. This does look pretty cool though.

Lovely texture shots, Valerie. I also enjoyed your post on the hydrangeas. I have not cut any yet for indoor decorating and really should before it's too late. Thanks for the tip on putting them in only a little water, I will try it!

Valerie,
I am trying to keep up with her e-course and not doing a very good job. I love your picture. Very nice.

Great interpretation, Valerie! My kettle is often on in the afternoon too, so I can get the coffee "can do" in my system!

Love the warmth of this image! I guess it's just special to see how textures affect such a wide variety of objects.

Lovely image and wonderful texture work! The mug is really pretty and I love the shape of the kettle too. This is making me want a cup of hot tea!

That's a really nice kettle with that texture and I really like seeing the reflection aswell of the rest of your kitchen. Mine's always on in the late evening aswell.

That sounds like a good idea. I think I'll make myself a cup of tea right now - but not before I tell you what a good job you did on this piece!

Your kettle is pretty and so is your cup - and the texture work is awesome - so subtle.
