A Farm Visit

farm mosaic

Today was the first sunny day we have seen in this area for over a week.    My friend Jen was going to her brother’s farm and I tagged along.   While she was in the house I walked around and snooped into all kinds of things.   I had a lovely visit with the cows.   As  with most farms there were a few cats about.  The little black and white was just outside the barn door.   The grey one with the beautiful blue eyes was more shy but Jen gave him a cuddle and he cooperated while I took his photo.   Included is items you find generally on the farm like machinery and even a few highbush cranberries.

Dyptch wedding

Last weekend was the marriage of our youngest son.   It was a cold and rainy day but the occasion was an extremely happy one for the couple and everyone attending.  They are blissfully happy and away on their honeymoon while my husband and I babysit two of the three dogs and the skinnypig.  Left photo is my husband, our oldest son Mike and his wife of 6 years Shellene and me on the right.    Valerie

I am joining Mary for Mosaic Monday.   Have a great week.

I enjoyed seeing the farm shots; no cows in my neighbourhood! I'm sure the wedding was a joyful occasion for your entire family.
