It Started with a Shadow

This morning started out bright and sunny but very cold.  Check the thermometer.  Minus 15C is too cold to go out with the camera.    But, the sunshine coming in the windows provided me with a lovely little shadow in the hall.  Out came the nifty 50 lens and in no time I had some photos to share for Mosaic Monday with Mary.   Hope you are having a little sunshine where you are.   Valerie

We're having cold sunshine here today and I guess we'll be awaking to your -15 temp. tomorrow morning. I thought the deep cold was done for this winter!! Your mosaics are beautiful. Have a great week. I hope it warms up. Pamela

Lovely little shadow... It has been quite brisk here today, too, and windy.

-15..Brrrr!!! I have enough sunshine here in Az to spread around hows 25C sound...I do know how those shadows can warm your heart on a c-0-l-d winter day!
P.S. I am reading your profile and I will have to contact to you about gardening in a sandbox...my home in the Ontario woods is very sandy...when I return to Ontario I'll be interested in planting ideas for sandy soil.

Hi Val! Oh, my, that is too cold to go out. But you got lovely images – thank goodness for the sunshine. Hoping the coming week is warm and sunny, or at least, warmER. :)

It's cold, but the light is so beautiful shining through the windows onto your objects. You've captured that clear winter light wonderfully.
