March is Cancer Month for Mosaic Monday

daffodil mosaic

I bought a bouquet of daffodils the other day when we were at the hospital. Try as I might this afternoon I tried capturing some of their beauty for my mosaic but I don’t know whether it was the light or the photographer but I was not happy with these attempts.   It was one of the Sundays where it is rainy and dark and I should have been on the couch with a book and a blankie.  Some days are like that.

I am joining Mary for Mosaic Monday.  Have a great week.  Valerie

Hi Val, It was a blankety and book day for sure. Great shots, daffodils are such happy bulbs. Jen.

It's a beautifully cheerful mosaic.

I don't know Val, I think the daffodils turned out pretty good. You captured different angles and the cheerful yellow is certainly welcome today.
I did the lazy boy chair and book thing myself.

You did something right because they look very cheery and bright to me and I'm wearing a grin where I wasn't before.

Yeah, it may have not been your best photo session but you still made a lovely mosaic out of it. The eggs are chalk!

Daffodils are just cheery! You can't help but smile when you see them. I especailly love my Daffodils because the deer don't bother them.
Hugs,

It's still beautiful and full of spring's colour. I'm glad you shared.

I was going to do the same thing - shoot some daffodils. But I was feeling the same way about the light - my photography skills don't allow me to take good photos in poor light. Yours are much better than you are giving yourself credit.

you certainly captured the bright cheerfulness of the daffodils that say hello spring! Now you can curl up with that book and blanket - sounds nice actually!
Have a wonderful week.

Love the daffodils. That reminds me that I need to take a little drive to some fields to see them in bloom!
