Warmth for Texture Tuesday

watering-can-with-textures-for-web

The last couple of days have been really hot.  We had a good downpour last night but it did little to help the parched Sandbox.  The flowers have theirs heads hanging down and look pathetic.  I found a picture in my archives for this weeks challenge at Kim Klassen Café.  The seedtops of the Rhubarb plant make for an interesting display in this old watering can.  I did use Kim’s newest texture “Sunday” and another texture by Pixel Dust called “motherlove”.

I am joining Texture Tuesday with Kim Klassen Café.   See you there.

I love this photo! I would never think to use the seed heads from rhubarb. To think I just broke them off and tossed them away the other day!

Pretty Val. I've never let my rhubarb go to seed but the tops do look rather nice.

I always break off the seed heads while they are still in bud stage -- they actually look pretty in your photo! Who knew? :)

I love the soft colors and the minimal color palette.
