One day last week my husband and I took a little drive in the afternoon just to shake the cobwebs out and see the colours. There is lots of it yet but if we get a good windy day a lot of it may be gone. When we arrived back home I noticed that the Korean Lilac ‘Miss Kim’ in the front garden had turned a lovely apricot colour and then just by the front door were a little grouping of Shaggy Mane mushrooms.
We are having our family Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow as the kids and their spouses are visiting their other families today. Now that my husband is retired it isn’t an issue to have the dinner on the Sunday so that you had a day to rest after eating such a big meal.

Really nice Mosaic, Valerie, the colors are so vibrant. It's so nice when we can go slow enough in life to notice what is around us. You have captured that well. Hope you have a nice family dinner together tomorrow.
Flexibility is always nice! Lovely mosaic. I really enjoyed seeing the Korean Lilac, something I've never heard of before. It's gorgeous. And I enjoyed seeing the colors and countryside that you experience every day. We're in the same place as you folks — wanting to get out and see the colors before the wind and rain take off with them.
The colours of Nature at this time of year are just breathtaking. Such wide expanses of colour in your photos. Lovely.

A beautiful mosaic Valerie! The wind is blowing the leaves off here today. They are fading fast :( Frost warnings for tonight too so I will have to cover my annuals.
