February’s Last Snow Fall

obalisk-with-pdpa-vintage-texture

This morning we woke up to a winter wonderland with every tree and shrub branch just loaded with white fluffy snow.  I ventured out as far as the deck to get a few shots of the backyard.  The obelisk in the round garden was the photo I chose for today’s themes.  I added a preset of black and white from lightroom and then in photoshop I added Pixel Dust Photo Art’s texture of antique me.  I thought it gave an old world feel to the photo.

I will be joining ThursdaysatDearLittleRedHouse where the theme is architecture today and Photo Art Friday where the theme this week is vintage.

Have a great day.

The snow was so pretty this morning, but dropped very quickly off the trees. We have just finished clearing the driveway ... thank goodness for snow blowers.
Your obelisk looks very pretty.

Beautiful Valerie! I like the editing. It's trying to storm here but not successfully at this point. We've had a bit of everything but the snow event is a no show so far.

That is a great piece of architecture, especially when covered in snow. Beautiful photo and I love what you've done to it.

Beautiful image! And the texture is perfect - it looks like frost around the edges.

It really was a winter wonderland out there Thursday morning and this photo captures it beautifully. Now hopefully that's the last of the snowfall for the season (but I doubt it)

Such a clever way of highlighting the architecture of the piece. Your showscape must be glorious. I love the texture that you added to your beautiful photo.

Wonderful wintery beauty you've created here. The texture worked great with your photo. We've not had much of the "white stuff" here this winter (for which I'm thankful) but it's lovely to see photos of it like yours.

How magical, Valerie! It would be such a treat to wake up in the morning and see a blanket of sparkling snow. Alas, our temps this week have been around 85 with hot, gusty Santa Ana Winds...not my favorite. Makes us all sneeze! Can't wait to get back to regular 'winter' next week, when it will drop into the 60's! Hurrah~
Great photo. HAPPY March :)

Hoping You Have a Blessed Easter
