Love always involves responsibility, and love
always involves sacrifice.
And we do not really love Christ unless we are
prepared to face his task and to take up his cross.

We had our Easter Dinner with our boys and their wives and baby Kenzington yesterday as they were having dinner with the in-laws today. My husband had just been discharged from hospital and it was nice to have a meal together again. Good Friday had me setting the table and then I began to take a few pictures as I went along. It ended up being a little still life project. Life is like that as just when you start of do something you get a little side tracked and off you go in another direction.
I am joining Mary for Mosaic Monday. Have a blessed Easter.

Happy Easter - I'm sorry to read that your husband was back in hospital. I'm sure there was relief in having him with you at the table with the entire family.
Happy Easter to you and your family. I hope you hubby has a quick recovery from his hospital stay. Your images are lovely!
Valerie, I'm so glad you had a lovely Easter dinner with your family. It's such a special time to be together and celebrate. Your mosaics are sweet. Happy Easter to you!
I'm glad your hubby got home from the hospital and that you were able to share a meal with your loved ones. Wishing you a most wonderful Easter!

Happy Easter, Valerie. So glad that your family was able to spend it all together - it's a blessing in itself. We had my daughter and her partner here for Saturday dinner and Sunday brunch - my son and his family live too far away to get together too often. It was relaxing and joyful.
What beautiful Easter/Spring photos, Valerie!
I hope you had a wonderful Easter.
I thought surely it just might be spring here, but I woke this morning to find the ground covered again. :-(
Wishing you a wonderful day!
