Late July in the Garden

Mosaic Monday July 15

Can you believe it is the end of July already.   It makes me unhappy to see the summer go so quickly.   I am a fair season girl and do not like the cold or those celebrations that you are supposed to be excited about in the cold weather.   I like summer sitting on the deck with a book or maybe digging the odd piece of grass out of the flowerbed or maybe chasing the bunny for the inth time as he eats all my flowers.

Mosaic Monday July 25

Sorry, feeling gloomy today.    Hope you are enjoying the summer and the weekend.   I am joining Mary for Mosaic Monday.

Lots of blooms in your garden Val. I just commented today that it feels like autumn, especially since some of the leaves have turned already. Where did July go?

I love your beautiful photos...they are perfect for July. I'm a summer time girl, too. We moved to Florida a few years ago to extend the warm weather. It makes me happy. I'm thinking sunny happy thoughts for you, too! Hugs!

It feels like early fall with the crazy weather today. Great shots, love the chairs under the apple tree. See you tomorrow.

Ah, Valerie - you'd like life on Vancouver Island. We can dig and weed 12 months a year if we like. As a matter of fact, I was looking around this morning at what needs to be transplanted and thought 'that can wait until November'. I think you'd like our climate - and I know yours very well!

Your garden and flowers are lovely. I agree with you summer is going much too fast. I am not winter or cold weather person. Beautiful images, have a happy week!

I don't blame you. I now live in Southern California and can't imagine how I'd handle going back to a cold climate. Your photos ar beautiful, by the way.

Summer is flying by way too fast isn't it Valerie? I enjoyed your sunny photos of your garden though. They make beautiful mosaics. Enjoy the beautiful warm days while we have them. I'm with you. I don't enjoy winter at all and when the days start to shorten in August I get quite down. Hugs, Pam

I much prefer the summer also, Valerie.
Winters here in NY are too long and too gray.
I am beginning to notice the changes here.
The bright greens are beginning to turn a yellow green, and that's a sure sign that summer is winding down. :-(

Pretty pictures of your garden. I can't tolerate hot weather, my husband hates gardening and the dogs tear up the yard so almost every time I post pictures of gardens they aren't of mine. Thanks for stopping by my blog.

summer is certainly "happy days". I am sorry that yours appears to be going so quickly. It was lovely however to see some pics from around your summer garden. I am looking forward to spring and the wildflowers in my corner of the world.
Have a wonderful weekend ahead and thank you for stopping by my blog. It is nice to keep in touch with "friends" across the world.
