Yellow and Blue Dwarf Iris

It rained a bit here today. We need it as everything is getting crispy like it was July.  I took this picture of the dwarf iris with the girls name that I cannot remember.  It looked so pretty with the rain drops on them.  More Straight Out of The Camera photos can be found on this Sunday meme.  See you there.

That is a gorgeous iris. I have a purple one blooming right now that smells just like grape Koolaid. It makes your mouth water.

Hi Valerie, When I saw the title of your blog I immediately thought 'Gardening in Iraq'. Also a sandbox but one of a different nature. Love the name of your blog. Gardening in sand is difficult. I had sand in NC and had a hard time so I can understand it. Sounds like you start off right though with the raised beds.

I've seen a lot of irises but never one like this dwarf iris. It is incredible. So delicate and perfect with those soft colors. If you find the name I'd love to know it.

Hoping You Have a Blessed Easter
