A Stormy Beach for Watery Wednesday

The day that my husband and I pulled into Agawa Bay campground in Lake Superior Provincial Park was very windy and on the cool side.   After setting up our campsite we took a walk down to the beach.  The waves were high and the plumes splashing up on the rocks went way into the air.

Stormy beach at Agawa Bay Campground

The campsites that were right on the beach were completely windblown.  They were having to tie extra ropes to the few trees to keep everything from blowing away.  The next morning the wind had died down and the lake looked fairly placid again.

For more watery scenes join us at Watery Wednesday.  See you there. Valerie

Beautiful picture to remember the crashing waves and wind! Often when the wind stops blowing and it is peaceful, it is hard to imagine it any other way!

I could only imagine how windy it is. But the sound of the waves and the fresh air is just amazing. Happy Wednesday!

Great shot. You captured the energy of the waves. I hope you had a trailer. I don't think one could tie a tent down in that.

I give credit to the wind giving a great splash of the waters! What a great view!

I like the way the wave is echoing the curve of the rock.

Pretty....I think if I were to camp there, I'd not want to leave.

Valerie, What a beautiful shot! You are blessed to live so close to the beach. Your canna is very pretty as is your agastache, and love your fall mosaic too. Even though our gardens are well past peak, this is definitely a beautiful time of year. It was a pleasure to visit today, Valerie.
Blessings, Beth
