A Sunday Drive for Mosaic Monday

As I contemplated what I would offer for Mosaic Monday I thought maybe you might be tired of what is growing in the Sandbox.   You realize I may have to change my header soon to No Gardening in the Sandbox as there will be no way I am going out there in the winter except to feed the birds.
My husband offered to take me for a drive.   There are pockets where the leaves are still green on the trees and then there are pockets where the leaves have completely dropped and the trees are relatively bare.   As this year has been ahead of itself the leaves are too.   We will be lucky to have any for Thanksgiving which is usually the time to take a long drive and digest that turkey.  So,  my mosaic today is what we saw on our little drive.   I hope you enjoy it.

Love the mosaic -- so fallish. Makes me ask where the year went. :D

Looks like it was quite a lovely day ... the trees are definitely losing their green leaves. Great field shots as well. What a lovely drive.

I imagine that your weather in Ontario is similar to ours in Wisconsin - perhaps even a bit colder. Thanksgiving is pretty barren here by then also. Gorgeous views from your drive!

Glad someone got outside this weekend. :-) At least I know who the new exec is.
We are really hoping for a nice display on our annual autumn trip to North Bay for Thanksgiving.

What a beautiful drive you and your hubby took. It's a little as you describe in my corner, too. Pockets where most trees are still green; others where the leaves are nearly spent. Let's hope that the season lasts a good long time for us both!

Beautiful mosaic, Valerie! I enjoyed the photo's from your drive. Our leaves are still green except for the ones that are shriveled and brown from lack of rain. Not sure what to expect as far as color this year. We are just beginning to have rain and the grass is nice and green again. I have some very large dead patches and we are thinking about filling in with soil and creating some raised beds instead of re-seeding. I hope time permits and we can accomplish this goal.

Lovely, gentle fall colours - but I especially like the way you've arranged your mosaic in your use of the sky.
