Red Tulip Macro

red-tulip-macro-with-logo
At this time of the year my favourite store where I get most of my vegetables and fruit also carries Tulips in bunches.    I am compelled to purchase a few bunches every week to give me that happy feeling of colour when all around me is a sea of white.   This week I purchased different hues of pinky-red.   Are you feeling this need to see more colour too?   I have marked on my calendar some dates that suggests that Spring is not too far off with some of the flower shows starting in February.   You will see more flowers on my posts as time goes on.    Hurray.
I am joining Laura for Macro Friday   Have a great weekend.   Valerie

What a vibrant bloom! I found 2 more witchhazels opening their buds today and a pulmonaria along with primroses. It's a great feeling seeing the plants come to life again.

A burst of colour would be wonderful on a dull day like today.

I love it! I really like the soft, blended colors in the background too! I actually just got a nice bouquet today from my husband for our 5th anniversary! ...I'm anxiously waiting for some good lighting to take shots of it!

It's hard to believe the flower and garden shows are right around the corner – but it's a good thing that they are! I'm glad you have the tulips to cheer you up – won't be long now until you have lots of color around!

Gorgeous colour.

I buy all kind of flowers to give me colors. I'm quite bored for snow white and we have 5 months white time. My home is painted bright colors for that reason so I manage the whole winter:)
