Summer Evening

Summer Evening with texture

Recently our Naturalists group took a last hike through the nature reserve close to us before we took a summer break.   Ontario Nature who owns the reserve put up nesting boxes for various birds and this one just caught my eye with the back lighting and shadows.   I decided to use this photo for my texture this week.  I began by using an action from Florabella called summer haze and then added two layers of Kim Klassen’s “JustCause” texture.    I think it softened the original. Last I added some text and my logo.

I will be joining Kim Klassen Texture Tuesday.   Come join in.   Valerie

Very nice shot and editing. I think I hear the crickets in the tall grass and the birds singing.

Great shot and layering. The rock on top of the box adds interest. :)
