Stories to be Told

Brownie with Serenity texture for web

If there are stories to be told this Brownie Hawkeye could tell us a few.  He has been here and there and seen a lot of things. If only he could talk.

Kim Klassen gave us a prompt of “story” this week for Texture Tuesday.  I am also joining Lisa Gordon for The Creative Exchange.   Valerie

Valerie, this is just beautiful, and so perfect for the prompt. I have a camera just like this one. It belonged to my Dad.

Thank you so very much for sharing with us this week at The Creative Exchange.

Have a wonderful evening!

Hi Val
I recently told someone else on their blog that when I bought my Canon DSLR, Henry's said they'd take any old cameras we had for students to learn from. Apparently they still play with film in classes and that's where our ancient family heirlooms went. :-)

Did every family at one time have a "brownie"? Great texture work :)

I love this old style image, it works so well for your old camera, I love them too.

Oh, the memories it must have captured over the years.
I have a similar camera sitting on the shelf in my sewing room. I can't find film for it, or I'd love to see if it still works. :D

I have a few vintage cameras and have always wanted one of these. Just so cute and boxy.

Great shot and editing, Valerie. Also love your new profile photo -- pretty lady! :)
