All on a Winters Day

mosaic with scrapbook paper

All the leaves are brown
All the leaves are brown
And the sky is grey
And the sky is grey
I've been for a walk
I've been for a walk
On a winters day
On a winters day
Id be safe and warm
Id be safe and warm
If I was in l.a.
If I was in l.a.
California dreamin
California dreamin
On such a winters day

Can you hear the music.    It wasn’t California but it was a beautiful sunny and snowy morning.   I was out shoveling the drive way and just enjoying the sun on my face.  We haven’t had much sun lately.    St Francis had a snowy white cloak on to keep him warm. The birds were atwitter.    The plume of the seed head on the Goat’s Beard look beautiful with a blue sky background.   The goldfinches are enjoying the sun and the Niger seed in the feeders.  Hope you had a wonderful weekend.

We have a full week of appointments for my husband at Southlake Cancer Centre this week.   Since finding out that he has Cancer in the Esophagus we have had many of these appointments.   I am praying that all will be well and he can be cured.   For the moment he is too weak to do much and I am learning skills that I never had to bother with before.

I am joining with Mary for Mosaic Monday.   Valerie

Yes I could hear the music. It was also very windy here so it made it quite chilly when I was outside. Hoping things go well for your husband. One of our neighbours just went through all the treatment and fingers crossed the cancer was removed.

I'm sorry to hear about your husband's cancer, Valerie. This is a difficult time for both of you. I pray that you will be strengthened each day.

Love the snow scenes. We've seen very little of the white stuff around here.
