The Sandbox is coming awake more everyday. The springtime bulbs are bursting out of the soil. Tulips, Crocus, Grape Hyacinth and even the native Bloodroot have arrived. The weeds and grass has invaded the flowerbeds too so I have been down on my hands and knees cleaning up.
I am in the second week of a 4 week photography course with the Perfect Picture School of Photography with teacher Kathleen Clemons on how to take photographs using the Lensbaby. I have a Lensbaby Composer which I bought a couple of years ago and have been using it with mixed results. I really want to use it with some skill and it does take some playing around to achieve the results you want. If you are interested in taking some photography classes yourself check out the website www.ppsop.net for all the different classes.
I am joining Mary for Mosaic Monday. Enjoy your week. Valerie

That looks like a very interesting lens to have. Have fun with the course.
Your lens baby has created some wonderful photos Val.
Practice makes perfect I guess.
See you for lunch on Tuesday.

Beautiful flowers and a lovely mosaic. The crocuses are one of my favorites, I love the color. Wish you a great week ahead.
Wow, great shots. Love the Bloodroot and crocus shots. See you tomorrow, Jen.
This is the best time to get those pretty floral shots. I love the grape hyacinths especially.
Love all your bulbs and enjoy your photo class. Learning something new is a delight! Have a grand week.
Your photos look so beautiful, Val! I just heard about Lensbaby lenses tonight. There is so much to learn about photography so that we will all never be bored!
Very neat shots. I love the spring flowers waking up!
Beautiful flowers! Great shots.
I've been getting down on my hands and knees these days, too. So many weeds!
Love the mosaic, Valeris. Looks like you have learned a lot on your course. Never heard of Lensbaby lenses - will have to check them out.
I've been shovelling, digging out beds and replanting things all week and there's still a ton left to do. I feel like I'm so far behind and then I remember it's only mid-April - a month ahead of where we normally are.
Valerie, what a fun mosaic! I love Spring blooming bulbs. Things are really starting to bloom here also. Anxious to get out and get a few pics.
Hugs,
Jann
