Bokeh for Photo Art Friday

pink-mums-in-blue-cup-with-textures

I tried to follow Bonnie’s tutorial on creating art with the poster edges and her texture called Memories of Paris.  I got kind of mixed up but in the end of I liked what I had done and left it there.    The bokeh overlay came from a Life Texture Pack from www.imagenskins.com that I downloaded some time ago.

Photo Art Friday is hosted by Bonnie at Pixel Dust Photo Art.   Have a wonderful weekend. It is supposed to rain here all weekend.   My house has not had a good cleaning lately as I have been out in the garden as much as possible so with the rain I can make some inroads on the clutter.

What a charming still life. Love how the scripted page from the textures seems to lie on the table beside the cup and saucer. The bokeh in the corner is the perfect touch for your desaturated look. As you can see, I love it! Thanks for sharing your artwork with Photo Art Friday, Valerie.

I love what you have done!! and totally love that cup and saucer! They have been calling for rain here for over a week but it never comes and I, like you have been relishing the opportunity to be in the garden all day ... but my gardens need rain now so I hope it really comes!

Very pretty Val, I like the purple teacup.
I preferred to clean today and still have to get out in the garden. It's been so dry, the soil is blowing right off the farmers' field - into our house. Even the floor felt gritty.

I think this is just wonderful. You started with such a marvelous still life (LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the shadow cast by the saucer) and added just the right amount of magic. Beautifully done!!!

Lovely image (again - all your images are so beautiful). So maybe with all the rain predicted for the weekend, I'll finally sit down and try and figure all this computer stuff out. Almost don't know what to do with myself, it's been so long since we've had a rainy weekend.

You did an outstanding job with the bokeh. This image is perfect for bokeh. Nice touch with the Memories of Paris texture too. I haven't used yet but I'm going to use it on my next piece.
