Last year I grew Zinnias that I purchased from Renee’s Seeds in California and I was thrilled with the size and colour of them. This year I tried another colour called Raspberry Sorbet. I am equally as pleased as last year and I wonder what colour I will choose next year.
For this photo I chose Kim Klassen’s texture called Annabelle and another from Joe Olive called Canvas Rose.
I am joining Kim Klassen for Texture Tuesday. I hope that it is a good day for you.

Very pretty - so delicate. You used a beautiful texture that fits it perfectly.
great idea and well executed too! I love zinnias too - perfect for the garden.
Hello Val
The name suits this beautiful pink zinnia.

This is gorgeous! Looove the softness!
Yes she is indeed very pretty.
Very pretty!
What a pretty colour, and a pretty name for this zinnia.
These zinnias are so beautiful. I remember them as a child. I think they fell out of favor for a while because they seemed ordinary. I have, however, seen some sensational colors, and I plan to buy seeds next year. For now I'm content with the yellow, orange and red I bought and planted in a pot even if it is a bit late in the season.
I love the Annabelle texture and it's perfect for this photo. Nice editing.
I may be duplicating my comment here. Lovely zinnia. Annabelle texture is perfect for this photo. Nice editing.
Love the texture.. thank you for sharing.
Pretty. Never grown zinnias - but I bet they are a good filler. I know they perform really well throughout the season which would be terrific at this time of year when most things are finished in my garden.
Valerie, this is really beautiful.
I am quite sure I've not seen a color like this in a zinnia. It really does look like raspberry sorbet!
xo.
Oh my this is very pretty!! Love the color and zinnias is one of my favorite. ^_^ Thanks for the visit.

Very nice Zinnia!
Hi Valerie, I like zinnias too, and yours is a lovely color. I enjoyed seeing your texturizing effect - looks great!
Hi Val, That's really lovely! And even lovelier since you grew it yourself.
Zinnias are so happy. I never really did much with them but Erin dropped off a few buckets full last week and I've been playing. :)
