To decide on this weeks challenge for lines I went to the web for a definition: This is what I found.
Definition: Leading lines are lines within an image that leads the eye to another point in the image, or occasionally, out of the image. Anything with a definite line can be a leading line. Fences, bridges, even a shoreline can lead the eye. If can pair leading lines with a subject that is placed according to the rule of thirds your image should be very strong.
I have a favourite little spot in the countryside that I go to in the fall because the road is lined with maple trees and has those snake rail fences that I adore. I know in this spot I will see lots of colour. I love the contrasts in colour between the leaves, wood and the line of trees. A texture of Bonnie’s called Vintage Vellum was applied and the I went to Topaz Adjust 5 to enhance it a bit. A frame from Coffeeshop blog lends itself to making the photo look interesting and then I added some text.
I will be joining Bonnie at PixelDustPhotoArt for Photo Art Friday.
