Pot O Pansies

Yesterday I attended the Ontario Horticulture Society District 5 AGM with members of Mt. Albert Garden and Horticulture Society, the particular group I belong to.  We had a very nice day, had a lovely lunch and got to meet up with people from other societies.  The centerpiece for our table was a large pot with pansies in it.  We were told that as a small gift from the junior members of the host Society we could take a pot of pansies home.  I chose this little blue purple one.  This morning I got the idea to take their picture in front of the sliding door to the deck.

I am joining Mary for Mosaic Monday.  It is a lovely day here today and I spent the morning cleaning up the front gardens.  After I post here I will go out and put my tools away.   Have a great week.

Your petite pansy pot is pretty Val. Our district AGM was yesterday too and by the end of the day, my role was finished. I received some lovely bouquets and a weeping 'Lavender Twist' redbud from the district.
Woo hoo!

Wow, gorgeous shots. Love the different DOF and added colour panels. I cleaned the pond and put the pump running, ugh, such a dirty job. Have a great day.

Your mosaics are delightful as are your pansies. Our pansies are with us all winter and have stayed nice since the weather has been moderate. But they will soon die and will replace them with petunias, etc.

The pot of pansies is so pretty, but your photos really enhance the beauty. I'm glad things are improving weatherwise for you. There's lots of work to do once spring arrives, isn't there?

Sweet little pansy faces. I think I might buy some this week to put in somewhere for some colour. I like how you colour blocked your mosaics. Hugs, Pam

I love pansies - they are my stand-by color in Autumn/Winter!!!
Sounds like a great group you're in Valerie and what could be nicer than all get together and chatting about plants and gardens - hard to beat!

I love pansies! They are one of my favorite to plant and there are so many colors to choose from! Spring is showing up on the prairies, so hopefully I will be planting some soon!
