A Little Flower Photo Art

side of the pool with water lily pdpa texture

Last evening I sat down to play with some photos and try to create a piece of photo art.  Pixel Dust Photo Art asked us to use a flower and one or more of her textures for our piece.   If I tried to do this again I would not know what steps I used as I push a button here and there and if  I like it I keep it and go on.  The texture  I used was called Antique Deskpad.   I can tell you that I like the blend mode luminosity for wild and wacky colour variations.

I am joining Photo Art Friday with Bonnie and I am again this year going to attempt to post a picture a day for every day in August as part of Susannah Conway’s August Break.

Have a great day

Oh, I do this all of the time, Valerie (forget the steps I took in an edit)! Whatever steps you took here, this sure is beautiful. I love all of the wonderful shades of pink.

Oh dear, this is so lovely - I know the way you do it. I do this sometimes as well and I TRY to remember as there are many who ask. I am in awe looking at yours - Thanks a lot for sharing

This is so dreamy and pretty. Your edit is fabulous.
I hear you about not knowing what steps I do to get to my end result. I sometimes try to write them down but often forget due to being intent on creating something that appeals to me rather then remembering how I did it.

You created a very nice piece of art. So what steps you took is rather irrelevant. :)

Luminosity does produce some glorious effects - and certainly did so here - along with all your other edits!

It feels like standing in a beautiful prairie among wild flowers in the fog. I love the effect and I chuckle when you say I don't remember the steps. How many of us have done the same thing and wonder if we will ever be able to recreate a similar effect. But we do and we have fun doing it, which is what it is all about. Beautiful work Valerie ...
