Pretty Cleome

annual cleome

Just curious!  How do you read your blogs?  I used to use Google Reader exclusively for reading the posts of the blogs that I follow.  Google Reader went defunct and I signed on with Feedly as my reader.   I like the format but when I try to read blogs on my iPad in the morning it always crashes.   I have searched the web looking for an answer and from some of the answers it is supposed to be fixed but in my case it isn’t.   After a few crashes I give up and don’t read any more.  I hate to miss what you all have been up to lately.

Valerie, I used Feedly for a while, and then tried Bloglovin. I never had a problem with Feedly on my iPad, but like the Bloglovin interface MUCH better. I've been using it for about 5 months now, and have had absolutely no issues with it.

Love this photograph!!!

Wishing you a wonderful day!

I think I must be a dinosaur. I read on my laptop, when I'm home, from the reading list of blogs I follow. When I'm away it's the same thing, on my notebook.

I love cleome and see it in bloom everywhere right now. It's such a stately stand out plant when there are a lot in one spot. I read my blogs posts as they appear on my sidebar Valerie. I don't have an iPad. I will probably join the other reader (can't think of the name right at the moment) soon though as many seem to have done so. I hope you find a solution for the iPad. Pam

I am not much of a computer person when it comes down to it but I do know the basics , thankfully I have Papa here who is a computer techno wiz lol We use firefox and the old version of Google as the new versions still have problems with the filters as I have heard a lot of people who switched wish they hadn't , we use adobe reader and for my blog posts I use Windows Live writer, have used all this for years on our PC'S and lap tops so far no problems ! I hope you get it all sorted out ! Lovely photo . Have a good day !

How frustrating! I use Feedly on my laptop and have no trouble with it.

Lovely cleome, so delicate.
Love that colour of cleome Val.
I use Bloglovin on my laptop and iPad and it works fine on both.

Hi Valerie - I subscribe by email to most of the blogs I read (either on my laptop or my desktop Mac). I also follow a lot of blogs through Facebook.

I used to use Blogher, Linky Followers and Google+, but foudn this way a lot easier.
I am a dinosar like Pondside, I read my blogs on the sidebar of my Dashboard.

Abstract Flowers

I found this photo in my Lightroom files yesterday and I decided to join Bonnie for her monthly Pixel Dust Photo Art PhotoArtFriday. Her theme this month was funny enough abstract art.  So I added one of her textures called Si  Belle to my abstract flowers and that is it.

First Birthday

Yesterday my husband and I attended our granddaughters first birthday party.  The house was alive with little ones having a fun time of running through the house.  Kenzi wanted to join it but they kept knocking her down as they sped past her.  She is a trouper though.  No tears as she got back up and tried to go with the flow again. The hitch came when she was to participate in the smash the cake ritual that all of my daughter-in-laws family do at the first birthday.  Her maternal grandmother had made the smash cake and Kenzi was supposed to get down into it with both hands and get covered in cake.   Kenzi was having no part in it.  She cried as her hand was pushed into the cake.   Oh well maybe next year.  It was lovely to see all the little babies born at the same time as Kenzi and how sweet they all were.  Kenzi’s cake was an Elmo cake.  He is her favourite character.  I am joining Mary for Mosaic Monday.  I can feel spring in the air even though we have quite a bit of snow left bu…
