This pretty little teapot with the pink roses was filled with Creamy Earl Grey yesterday at a class I attended where we learned the fine points of making a high tea with cookbook author Moira Sanders. I used two layers of Kim Klassen’s “sweet tart” texture with blending modes of softlight and multiply. I used the layer mask to remove the textures from the tea pot. I used an action of Pioneer Woman called “soft and faded”. and then added the text and left it there. I had not really noticed until I started editing that I got some bokeh in there.

My hubby is not always very happy if I hadn't empty my "studio" and he is going to sleep, once I had taken pictures in dining table and there was no space even for his tea cup...not good:)

I collect tea pots! Is that an Old Country Roses tea pot? It looks similar to one that I have.
I love the way textures look and I am trying to learn how to use them. I downloaded them from Pioneer Woman but I can't figure out how to get them on PSE. I think my computer may just be to old to run Elements7 properly.
I really like the aged look of this! The textures give it wonderful character.
