Vintage Watering Can

watering-can-with-linen-tex

The watering can is an old galvanized one from my husband’s family.   It is in regular use here in the Sandbox.   I wonder if anyone can guess what the flowers are.   Just a little hint.  They are not lilacs.   The texture I used this week was two layers of stained linen by Kim Klassen.

I am joining Texture Tuesday with Kim Klassen and Paper Heart Camera for Touch Up Tuesday.  Have a great day.  Valerie

I have always loved watering cans and don't have a single one.
Yours is sweet, full of blooms.

I love that you used the watering can as a holder for the flowers. :) Those blooms caught my eye... what are they?

Stunning! I love vintage equipment or household items, and that watering can is just perfect. The texture brings so much character to it too. Just wonderful. And what are those flowers? They are so delicate and lovely.

Hi Val
I had a heck of a time trying to get your photo to download but it was worth the wait - stunning!
Can't see the flowers well enough to tell what they are.

Love the vintage watering can. The linen texture works beautifully with this image. The blossoms look more like astilbe than any other thing I can think of.

Love...love the vintage feel and what a great subject. I love the angle of the shot and the use of the texture. As far as the flowers goes...have no idea, but they add that delicate feel to the photo. Great job.

Bright blessings,
Kathy
