I took three photos of flowers in the garden yesterday and decided to try stacking them in layers one on top of the other in photoshop. Bonnie has done this and I thought I must give this a try. It was trial and error getting the opacity the way I wanted to. I then found a lovely texture called Solstice by RHWest that could fit into this week’s theme of light.
I am joining Photo Art Friday with Bonnie at PixelDustPhotoArt. Have a wonderful weekend.

Gorgeous Val. Great job.
This image seems like you have created some magical alchemy and captured sunshine in it. Love it, Valerie! Thank you for linking your artwork with Photo Art Friday.
Lovely, gives it a "fossil" effect. Cheers
Hi Val
I like the layered effect you ended up with, nice shade of yellow.

great job. very creative!
So delicate. Reminiscent of a sun print.
Stay inspired!
Very "artsy" piece bathed in such a cheery, sunny color. I like it.
These beautiful flowers, excellent texture.
Saludos.
This turned out great, lovely yellow tones !
Ruth's texture is wonderful, I used it on one of my pictures too a while ago.
Have a beautiful weekend,
Sylvia
So beautiful. You should make up some note cards with these type of images on the front.
Ahhh ... another new technique and you have created a sunny day for us all to enjoy. What fun you must have had and what amazing results. Thank you for the refreshing moment ....

This should be framed - it is such a pretty work of art.
Lovely. You've captured the sun!
Valerie I think you have captured sunshine itself. like how you have combined these 3 photos. I am not very good at doing that but you have inspired me to learn!
This turned out beautifully. It looks like a sun print!
Very pretty! This would make a cool texture on its own!
I love the effect you have achieved here - it is filled with light! So lovely...
I like what you did. It is gorgeous. :)
Wow - this is wonderful!!
Hi Val, Great idea to layer the photos – you did a beautiful job. I love it when you can't tell if an artwork is painted or photographed.
Have a great weekend!
