A Dose of Yellow

stacked photo with RHWest texture

I took three photos of flowers in the garden yesterday and decided to try stacking them in layers one on top of the other in photoshop.   Bonnie has done this and I thought I must give this a try.   It was trial and error getting the opacity the way I wanted to.  I then found a lovely texture called Solstice by RHWest that could fit into this week’s theme of light.

I am joining Photo Art Friday with Bonnie at PixelDustPhotoArt.   Have a wonderful weekend.

Lovely, gives it a "fossil" effect. Cheers

Very "artsy" piece bathed in such a cheery, sunny color. I like it.

Ruth's texture is wonderful, I used it on one of my pictures too a while ago.

So beautiful. You should make up some note cards with these type of images on the front.

Lovely. You've captured the sun!

Valerie I think you have captured sunshine itself. like how you have combined these 3 photos. I am not very good at doing that but you have inspired me to learn!

Very pretty! This would make a cool texture on its own!

Hi Val, Great idea to layer the photos – you did a beautiful job. I love it when you can't tell if an artwork is painted or photographed.

Have a great weekend!
