I took this photo last weekend when I was volunteering at the Sharon Temple. This week for Photo Art Friday Bonnie asked us to create art on architecture so I thought of this one
I used part of a tutorial that Bonnie gave us last week. I took my photo into Photoshop and chose filters- artistic- find edges. Then I added a PixelDust texture called age it. Finally I took it into Topaz Adjust 5 and chose a preset called Lomo I. That is it.
Joining Photo Art Friday. Have a great weekend.

Fabulous edit Valerie! It really looks like something you sketched and then added a touch of paint to ... Such fun to hear the 'how', too. Thank you for sharing your art with Photo Art Friday.
lovely processing on this! What a cute little barn this is
It looks like a pen and ink drawing. I'd be printing it off and framing it - love those old barns.
Lovely work!
Excellent choices for effects! They combine to give the real feel of old weathered, cracked and flaking barn wood. The "find edges" makes it look like it could be an etching.
Wow, fabulous. Love it. Take care, Jen.
It's hard to imagine improving on the original photo, but you did big time!
Wonderful. I really like the subtle vintage feel your edit gave this barn.
it looks like a beautiful drawing. Great work, Valerie!
Great barn, esp love that big ol sliding barn door! =)
This looks like an architectural rendering. Very nice.
Thanks for the process, too.
Have a great weekend.
Perfect choice of editing on this, I love the sketched look with the aged texture!
Great effect! I've been playing with "find edges", too - really fun!
I need to start experimenting like this. How creative.
I love it, very good texture.
Lovely sketch effect!
What a fantastic edit and great subject!
