Antiqued Paperwhite

paperwhites with antique deskpadpdpa

I went back into the archives to a time when I took strictly jpegs and I even think it was taken with my Lumix camera that is only 5px.  It had a lot of noise in the photo but thanks to Topaz Labs denoise program I got rid of a lot of it. It was further cleaned up in Photoshop.  I used a texture of Bonnie’s called Antique Deskpad over the top.

I am not sure this qualifies for this week’s theme of minimal by here it is.

Joining Photo Friday with Bonnie at PixelDust Photo Art.  Have a great weekend.

Wow - a really stunning piece of artwork, Valerie!! What great choices you made in the processing of it. Love what you did with that texture - you've inspired me to pull it out and use it more.

Your photo is beautifully tranquil. You did a wonderful job of cleaning up the noise and used it to your advantage. Great job!

I think this is a sublime minimalist photograph. And the texture is the perfect touch to soften and tone your paperwhite. I appears you have turned your photo sideways, which is very effective...It has the appearance of being placed on a highly polished surface. Ah, intrigue. smiles: sharon

minimalist is, like all BEauty, in the eye of the BEholder. I think this is just so very lovely, Valerie. it feels ancient yet within reach.

A great edit there, I love those narcissus, such a strong scent for a small flower :)

Valerie, this is absolutely gorgeous!
I love the simplicity, and your edit is wonderful.

I actually just started (inside) my paper whites today, so with any luck, in a few weeks they will be camera material!

Happy Sunday to you!

Really do like this one, Val. You did a great job recovering it - I wouldn't have known about the noise. Such sweet flowers, too.
