A New Arrival

Kenzi-collage

It seemed like it took for ever but much to the delight of all, our first granddaughter arrived.  Mom and Dad had picked the name of Kenzington (Kenzi for short) from the beginning. It seems like a big name for such a wee girl but she will grow into it.  Mom and Dad are over the moon except for her fussy times at night.  We remember that don’t we?   She has her nights and days mixed up.  I went to visit last week and just wanted to hold her the whole time.  As many of you with grandchildren can attest it is the best of times.

I am joining Mary for Mosaic Monday.  Have a great week.  This week ushers in  spring of 2013 but we will have snow for the beginning of it.

Congratulations on your new Grand daughter. What a sweetheart. My daughter gave birth seven months ago to our first Grandson. That baby has blessed the entire family. He spent the night last night and my husband and I have a new toy.

Wishing you all the joy in the world wrapped in a pink bow.

Hi Val!

I was stopping by to say congratulations on your book but then saw this news. Oh, my, CONGRATULATIONS! I am so very happy for you and your family. I do love the name and she will definitely grow into it. I know, I have a name that is a mouthful and it was tough at times as a kid but am happy for it now.

Wishing you a wonderful week ahead with your precious new family member.
